Dr Craig Anderson

Junior Group Leader - DKTK Munich
Cancer Systems Biology Group

I’m interested in evolution and adaptation, cancer genomics, mutations, DNA damage and repair.

My PhD is in ecotoxicology from Cardiff University, UK, under Pete Kille and David Spurgeon. I went on to an OCE Postdoctoral Fellowship at CSIRO, Australia, studying insect population genetics with Tom Walsh. I then moved to the University of Edinburgh, UK, to work in Cancer Genomics with Martin Taylor.

Since 2025, I’ve been a junior group leader with DKTK in Germany.
